Staying at the hotel was a pleasant experience overall. The rooms offer a nice view during breakfast time, and the piano bar and cigar bar add a touch of luxury to the stay. However, if your room faces the mountain side, the view might not be as picturesque as the lake view.

The hotel offers bright and spacious rooms at a pretty humble price, overlooking the lake with spectacular views from the balcony. The service is extremely nice and helpful, from the guy at the reception to the people in the bar and restaurant, always willing to assist. The location, despite being covered with scaffolding which made the room dull, is a short walk to Lucerne center. The dining experience is excellent, offering all the offerings you can imagine to start your day. The facilities are top-notch.
